Imaam Shafi Poem

اً طَلَّقُوا الدُّنيَا وخَافُوا الفِتَنَا

Indeed Allah has #intelligent #servants Who have #divorced the #world & who #fear #temptations

نَظَرُوا فِيهَا فَلَمَّا عَلِمُوا
إِنَّها لَيسَتْ لَحِيٍّ وَطَنَا
They #pondered in the world & when they knew That it is not a #homeland for a #living person

جَعَلُوها لُجَّةً واتَّخَذُوا
صَالِحَ الأَعمَالِ فِيهَا سُفُنَا
They took it as a #deep #sea & they made Good actions in the world their #ships – #Imam #Shafi
